HEALTH

Manage and facilitate the delivery of emergency medical services to the Jewish communities. This includes coordinating with international donors to ensure responsible use of funds in accessing emergency medical services.

We conduct community outreaches to deliver health sensitization sessions to local Jewish and non-Jewish communities during epidemic/disease outbreak on Government recommended control measures. We also provide health protective gears, medical equipment’s, supplies and infrastructure to save lives of affected Jewish communities.

Hygiene promotion activities. Concentrated on parent’s responsibility in ensuring family observes good hygiene practices, training children about good hygiene practices. Activities such as oral health education is delivered to the children which include proper tooth brushing techniques, hand washing demonstrations, bathing and personal hygiene guidance. During these sessions, we provide tooth brush and tooth paste for every child to work as motivation for both parents and children to practice and observe personal and home environmental hygiene and sanitation.

We support with construction of pit latrines to vulnerable Jewish families without one or when the existing one puts the life of the family members in danger if they continue using it. This support is only extended after assessment to prove family inability to construct by themselves and priority is given to elderly families. Currently we have 35 families who are legible for this support scared in 5 Districts we are operating and we are currently seeking funding to respond.
